Google API Services: Limited Use Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2025

Zenceipt's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Our application, Zenceipt, allows users to connect their Gmail inboxes for the specific purpose of identifying and extracting financial documents, such as invoices and receipts, for their accounting and bookkeeping needs.

To provide this service, we adhere to the following principles:

Purpose-Driven Access

We only access Gmail data with the user's explicit consent to provide a direct, user-facing productivity feature. The data is used solely to identify and process financial documents as requested by the user.

No Data Transfer for Advertising

We will never transfer or sell user data to third parties for the purpose of serving advertisements. This includes personalized, re-targeted, or interest-based advertising.

No Human-Reading of Data

We do not allow humans to read users' Gmail data. The process of identifying and extracting invoices and receipts is fully automated. The only exceptions are for specific security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable laws, or with the user's explicit consent for support purposes.

Scoped and Minimized Use

The data accessed from Gmail is used exclusively to provide the core functionality of Zenceipt. It is not used for any other purpose, such as developing, improving, or training our AI/ML models on a generalized basis. The models are narrowly tailored to recognize financial document formats.
